Professional Bio
| Dr Meredith Prain has worked in the disability sector since 1995 as a speech pathologist, researcher, and project manager. Her particular areas of interest include deafblindness, video interaction guidance, and communication access and inclusion. She currently works as National Head of Research and Centre of Excellence – Deafblind (Able Australia), Deafblind Information Australia Project Manager (SensesWA) and as a Research Fellow (University of Melbourne). Meredith currently serves on the boards of Deafblind Australia (treasurer), Deafblind International (vice-president) and chairs the International Communication Rights Alliance.
