Professional Bio
Gemma has over ten years of experience in the Disability sector working as a disability support practitioner in service coordination and service management roles, including NDIS support coordination and Supported Accommodation. Gemma is a co-founder of an NDIS support coordination service and a PhD candidate at the Centre for Social Impact, Swinburne University. She is particularly interested in understanding the outcomes people value, including the facilitators and barriers that people with disabilities experience in realising outcomes in life areas that are important to them. Outside of work and studies, Gemma keeps busy with her three primary school-aged children and spends time with family and friends, including her older sister, who has multiple and complex disabilities.
