Lana is a project officer for the Communication for Safe Care project based in South Western Sydney. She has worked in the health sector for almost 10 years and is deeply passionate about increasing access to health care, food security, health promotion and chronic disease prevention in Australia. She has experience in nutrition roles, co-design and consumer engagement, managing risks to equitable health care in rural and remote populations and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Lana's qualifications in both nutrition (undergraduate Health Science degree) and public health (Master in Public Health) provide a unique combination of a specific discipline and a broader population health approach to critically tackling social-health barriers.
